On the bright side, once you get your estate plan done, you can get back to 6am wake ups, Saturdays spent at soccer games, and fights over who gets to drink from the red cup.
Your family has all the information they need to fulfill your wishes in the event of an accident or your passing.
It's been clearly outlined and defined who will take care of your children so they stay safe and happy.
After you're gone, your family can avoid the courts, which can be frustrating, drawn-out, and expensive.
Trust us, we get it. Setting aside time to complete your estate plan (and thus, having to think about your eventual passing) is not an ideal way to spend a day. But here at Ladimer Law, we hope to add a little levity and ease to an otherwise overwhelming and potentially stressful situation.
My favorite part about running Ladimer Law is serving you, my clients. I genuinely enjoy meeting you, hearing your stories, and learning about your families.
I started Ladimer Law in 2014 so I could prioritize a better work/life balance and spend more time with my husband and two kids. Prior to opening my own firm, I worked as a law clerk for an estate planning and elder law firm in Boston and in Raynham. I graduated from New England School of Law|Boston in 2009 after receiving my BA from Muhlenberg College.
I know setting aside time to plan for a future without you in it can be daunting and overwhelming, and that's why I strive to make working with us as easy as possible. I also like to add a little humor, when appropriate, since this can be such a dry and heavy subject.
I'm not offended by swearing or inappropriate humor (I have the sense of humor of a 12-year-old boy).
I hate reading recipes (too many actions in one big run on sentence/paragraph), but I love food.
I hate wasting time or inefficient things, I truly appreciate being able to manage my time effectively.
I love organization, checklists, and concrete actionable items when I'm trying to accomplish a task.
I love to laugh - I connect with people when we laugh together.
