Wills in a Week – Kid Free Style!
Hello Friends!
I’m super excited to announce that we will be releasing our NEW Wills in a Week program for adults without kids. In the past, Wills in a Week has only been available for those with kids (single or married). We’ve worked on the logistics so that we can offer Wills in a Week for those who don’t have children to leave their estate too.
Things to know:
- If you have kids, but want to disinherit them, that is NOT available in this program. Disinheriting requires more drafting to protect myself as an attorney from the kids coming back and suing me. Disinheriting of any kids is not available in Wills in a Week; it is only available via a private consultation.
- If you are married, everything will go to your spouse first and THEN you can choose up to 3 (three) individuals or charities to evenly split the remaining assets.
- If you are single, you can choose up to 3 (three) individuals or charities to evenly split the remaining assets.
- example: three beneficiaries could be 1) Niece Regina Phalangee 2) Cousin Anastasia Beaverhausen 3) Charity LongHopes Donkey Shelter
- This plan will NOT protect against estate taxes OR nursing home care.
- If you sign up between March 22nd and March 25th, the cost is $1500 (single or married) for the legal documents (filing fees for your home are not included). After March 25th the cost will be $1800 (single or married).
There is no way around the ugly truth that death is inevitable for everyone. Getting your estate plan in please makes your death easier for your spouse, family, friends, and even for your attorney. Don’t be that person causing extra stress and aggravation after you’ve passed away!
